The statement stay · Historic downtown Paducah
01 / The stay
The Lenox Building began welcoming guests as a boarding house in 1897. More than a century later, its entire upstairs had been left largely untouched for over 50 years—a remarkable piece of Paducah history hidden above Broadway.
We restored every inch of the space, not to erase its past, but to bring it forward. Original millwork, transoms, doors, and the building’s clawfoot bathtub were carefully preserved wherever possible, then paired with expressive design, curated artwork, and modern comforts.
Today, The Penthouse occupies the building’s entire second floor. Its 3,200 square feet include three ensuite bedrooms, expansive living and dining spaces, a private rooftop terrace, and a theater of its own. It is more than our flagship stay—it is the next chapter of a building that has been welcoming guests since 1897.

02 / After dark
Settle into plush sofas, choose something worth watching and let the 100-inch screen take over. Sonos sound and color-changing lighting carry the atmosphere throughout the home.
A Kentucky original
Pull up a seat with a Kentucky original. The Colonel is one of The Penthouse’s most unmistakable conversation pieces—and he won’t judge your late-night food choices. We promise.
