01 / The stay

Downtown Paducah.
Big-city energy.

Built in 1897, this space spent its first life as the building’s warehouse. Today, its exposed brick, dark ceilings, dramatic lighting, and original industrial scale have been transformed into a ground-floor loft unlike anything else in Paducah.

A private entrance directly from Broadway leads through a landscaped garden with a water fountain—an unexpectedly quiet arrival before the full space reveals itself. Inside, the living room, dining room, and kitchen unfold as one expansive gathering space, with two generous bedrooms and two bathrooms tucked beyond it.

Guests often say it feels as if they have stepped into a private New York loft. That is The Lay Low’s real magic: authentically Paducah, unmistakably big-city, and genuinely one of a kind.

02 / The atmosphere

1897 bones.
Big-city soul.

The warehouse scale is still here—you can feel it in the brick walls, tall ceilings, and uninterrupted volume. Saturated lighting, gallery-scale artwork, and unapologetic design bring it forward as a loft that could exist in New York, Chicago, or London, yet belongs completely to Paducah.

A New York state of mind

Liberty looks
good in green.

A neon-green Lady Liberty holds court between the kitchen and dining room—a playful clue that this Paducah loft has always had bigger-city ambitions.
